Mission

Our mission is to use the experience of entrepreneurship to provide students with tools and behaviors that will have them be successful entrepreneurs, employees and citizens in the global 21st century economy. Our experience-based programs are a catalyst for a revolution in education.

History

EntrepreneursNOW is a Connecticut not-for-profit company formed in July, 2005 to produce a free-to-the-students Entrepreneurial Course for High School Students based on an innovative and effective course curriculum (The $-Road to Riches-$® ). The Entrepreneurial Course for High School Students was created so that the program’s core learning principles could be shared with people at an earlier age, giving them a head start on economic self-sufficiency, and a wealthy and prosperous life.

Six seminar cycles have been conducted between 2004 and 2007. The after-school program has grown significantly in each year of operation, from its pilot with seven students at Bristol Technical Education Center (Connecticut) in the spring of 2004 to its most recent Fall 2007 cycle with 9 Hartford and New Haven, CT area high schools with over 200 students.

In its first two years, the EntrepreneursNOW volunteers who support this program have raised over $250,000 through grants, corporate sponsorships and private donations, using the principles of the Entrepreneurial Course.
